About The Position

The mission of this full-time position is to execute securities and money movement transactions for Renaissance Financial clients for Schwab and Pershing accounts. In addition, this position provides support to Financial Advisors and Administrative Assistants with account maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Execute Schwab & Pershing trades for all Renaissance Financial offices.
• Set up accounts in the Model Portfolio Rebalancing system and execute the following trades.
• Process and review daily trade blotters.
• Review Trade Discrepancy report and process trade error reports as errors are determined.
• Build trusted, collaborative relationships with our custodian’s trading and operations teams to execute trades, cashiering, deposits, journaling, withdrawals, and other transactions properly and accurately.
• Monitor and track daily tasks for accuracy and completion.
• Function as a liaise to our Financial Advisors and follows up on the status of outstanding issues and requirements from our custodians.
• Monitor daily Schwab Alerts pertaining to trading, money movements, debits, margin, account restrictions, options, and provide assistance to Financial Advisors and Assistants.
• Answering incoming calls from Investment Advisory (IA) Trade Desk Line and emails from IA Trade Desk.
• Assist in preparation for Investment Committee meetings.
• Run reports in Morningstar as needed.
• Track and execute mutual fund interclass exchanges on a weekly basis.
• Review and submit Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA) requests and maintain the DCA report for Financial Advisors and Assistants.
• Assist Financial Advisors and Administrative Assistants with Cost Basis maintenance.
• Develop expertise in our firm’s technology and software tools and platforms.
• Participate in IA training for new Financial Advisors and Administrative Assistants.
• Provide backup assistance with preparation of morning and weekly updates.
• Assist IA team members as needed.
• Miscellaneous projects as assigned.
