Work Experience: Intermediate (Developing Skills) Work Experience Description: Ideal for students who have begun gaining relevant experience and are building their skills through internships, part-time jobs, or significant projects. Typically aimed at sophomores or juniors who have completed a combination of introductory and advanced coursework. ᅟ Department Name Maintenance - Trades Position Scope Load and unload tools, equipment, materials, and other items from trucks, carts, forklifts, and trailers. This includes rolling out at the beginning of a shift and rolling up at the end of a shift. Includes cleaning up job sites and keeping shop area clean and organized. Provides general labor assistance to workers. This work may include but is not limited to digging, sweeping, cutting materials, measuring, or other trade related work. Works with basic hand tools and power tools as instructed by supervisor. Works with hand tools and small equipment such as power washers, airless sprayers, compressors, line trimmers, blowers, mowers, etc. as directed by supervisor. Accurately accounts for time using the facilities work order system.
