Requirements

• 1-2+ years of experience preferred in an outdoor safety-focused environment, such as: Military Construction Utilities Road Maintenance Heavy Equipment or Skilled Operators
• Experience leading small crews, enforcing safety rules, and interacting with customers
• OR 1-2+ Years Traffic Control Experience / ATSSA Certificate
• Minimum of 1 year driving experience or comparable driving experience (TMA, Box Truck, construction hauling etc.)
• Valid state driver's license
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening for this Safety Sensitive position, including a drug test.

Nice To Haves

• TCT/TCS Certification preferred but not required at time of hire
• Able to Read/Interpret Blueprints preferred
• OSHA 10/30 a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead a small crew in planning and executing daily traffic control operations.
• Communicate clearly with your team to ensure safe and efficient work zones.
• Set up, Maintain, and remove traffic control devices, while monitoring work zones to ensure safe traffic flow and proper placement of lane closures
• Inspect work zone to confirm proper placement of signs, barricades, and other traffic control devices to comply with state regulations
• Providing outstanding service and protection to customers and public
• Protect the company’s employees, customers, and assets against losses, injuries, and accidents through enforcement of safe work practices.
• Become a subject matter expert in work zone setup/design and professional flagging.
• Other duties as assigned.
