About The Position

Conti Corporation is seeking an experienced Traffic Signal Technician to join our Pompano team. This role involves the installation, programming, integration, and maintenance of advanced traffic signal systems and related technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with traffic control components and a strong understanding of local specifications.

Requirements

• Previous experience in traffic signal installation and maintenance required.
• Ability to interpret one-line diagrams and blueprints.
• Valid Driver’s License required; CDL training available through company sponsorship.
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Bluebeam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, integrate, and maintain traffic signal components, including:
• Detection Systems
• Traffic Signals
• Edge-Computing Technology
• Emergency Vehicle Preemption
• Transit Signal Priority
• Adaptive Traffic Signal Control
• Communications Networks
• Transportation Safety Solutions
• Cabinets and UPS systems
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting for traffic signal controllers and cabinets.
• Diagnose and repair wiring issues in cabinets and underground systems.
• Replace conductors in conduit and test/splice loop detectors in the street.
• Ensure compliance with Broward County hardware and installation specifications.
• Work safely in outdoor environments year-round.
