We are currently searching for DOT certified Trailer Mechanics with 3 to 5 years of tank trailer repair experience at our Laporte, TX location! Address:11110 Hwy 225, La Porte, TX. 77571 Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 1st shift Pay Range: $20.00 to $37.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Requirements

• DOT certified
• 3 to 5 years of tank trailer repair experience
• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
