Requirements

Valid Driver's License
Strong, Ethical Character
Dependable
Ability to be objective
Ability to demonstrate professionalism
Good people/conflict resolution skills
Microsoft Outlook proficient
Good time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Able and willing to stand or walk for long periods of time
Able and willing to work outside in ALL weather conditions
Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
Exemplary performance and attendance record at previous employment
Must be available to work any shift including weekends and holidays
2 years stable work history
Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check
Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

Previous trailer accountability specialist experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Document reefer trailer information, to include starting unit and documenting all required information
Work with internal departments, drivers, and outside carriers
Communicate regularly with plant departments and department manager
Complete required reports in an accurate, timely manner
Check all load related information to ensure that it is complete and accurate
Contribute to a team effort
Record observations, occurrences, and unusual activities
Document incidents of irregularity
Operation of a motor vehicle
Other duties as assigned
