About The Position

The ISA (AVOD/FAST) team serves as the strategic and analytical backbone of Sony Pictures Core’s AVOD and FAST business, embedding directly within day-to-day operations to drive smarter content, advertising, and product decisions. The team integrates audience research, viewing analytics, competitive intelligence, ad performance analysis, and UX insights to inform programming strategy, optimize monetization, and enhance the user experience across BRAVIA TVs and PlayStation consoles. In close partnership with data science, engineering, BI, and cross-functional stakeholders, the team also shapes and operationalizes internal data tools and dashboards—translating complex data into clear, actionable insights that directly influence platform growth and long-term competitive positioning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in media, entertainment, digital platforms, consulting, or analytics-focused roles (internships included).
  • Foundational proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau or similar BI platforms).
  • Basic understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods, with the ability to translate data into clear insights.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical rigor, and ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to contribute to clear, structured presentations.
  • Interest in streaming, AVOD/FAST business models, and evolving digital media ecosystems.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of research and analytics projects by gathering data, running preliminary analyses, and contributing to summaries across audience, content, advertising, and UX initiatives.
  • Assist in preparing recurring and ad hoc reports by compiling performance metrics, validating data accuracy, and ensuring timely distribution to stakeholders.
  • Help maintain and update dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools to monitor content performance, ad metrics, and platform engagement.
  • Conduct competitive scans and basic industry research to identify trends across streaming, AVOD/FAST, and viewer behavior.
  • Contribute to clear presentation materials and collaborate with cross-functional teams (data, product, BI, and research) to support testing, documentation, and day-to-day project coordination.
