About The Position

The Trainer, Regional Systems is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing training programs in their assigned Region/location that equip new and existing service personnel with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. The individual in this position plays a critical role in enhancing team performance, operational efficiency, compliance and user adoption by aligning training with enterprise standards and regional workflow. This role will also be instrumental in driving customer experience, ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new hires and continuous learning for the client service teams.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Property and Casualty Insurance License is required and must be maintained.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in training, education, or management within the insurance industry.
  • Strong communication, presentation skills and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of training processes and techniques, with a proven track record of improving performance.
  • Intermediate knowledge of insurance markets, products, services, insurance ratings and underwriting procedures.
  • Ability to create engaging training materials and deliver effective training sessions.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel and Word).
  • Must be computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications.
  • Proficient in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training technologies.
  • Ability to travel as required by business need.

Nice To Haves

  • Four-year degree in Business, Education, or a related field preferred.
  • Certification in training or instructional design (e.g., ATD, CPTD) is a plus.
  • Prior experience acting in a mentor capacity and/or successfully leading a large project team preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Trains regional team members on duties, expectations, standards, and policies.
  • Develops, designs and creates comprehensive training programs and materials in conjunction with the Corporate Enterprise Training team, including presentations, manuals, and e-learning modules tailored to the needs of service personnel.
  • Manages the onboarding process for new service representatives, ensuring they receive the necessary training and resources to succeed.
  • Collaborates with HR and Regional Leadership to streamline onboarding procedures and improve new hire experiences from a training perspective.
  • Implement training sessions to keep the regional service team updated on product knowledge and industry trends. and client experiences.
  • Provides ad hoc remediation training as identified by leadership.
  • Evaluates and adjusts training content based on feedback and performance metrics to ensure service standards are being met.
  • Monitors and measures the effectiveness of training programs through surveys, assessments, and performance data.
  • Provides regular feedback to leadership regarding team performance and areas for improvement.
  • Works closely with the Vice President (VP), Client Success, Regional Training Director and Regional Leadership to identify training needs and align programs with business goals.
  • Collaborate with the VP, Operations and/or Regional Training Director to identify key strategic carrier partners and leverage them as additional training resources.
  • Facilitates knowledge sharing and best practices among team members.
  • Provides one-on-one coaching and support to service personnel, helping them develop their skills.
  • Fosters a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the regional service team.
  • Performs other projects, duties, and tasks, as assigned.
