Get to Know Your Team: Lovelace Health System includes six hospitals, 51 health care clinics, and seven outpatient therapy clinics, with 619 inpatient beds and employs a team of more than 3,400, including more than 263 health care providers. The Lovelace Medical Group education department oversees the training and development of all the Lovelace Health System outpatient clinics for both clinical and non-clinical staff. The trainer will be training and educating non-clinical staff, teaching non-clinical classes, and may help with appropriate clinical training as needed. The position will assist in the creation of presentations via Microsoft PowerPoint or other presentation software as required. Classes may include, but are not limited to, concepts and topics such as HIPAA compliance, hand washing, communication, customer service skills, patient experience, learning styles, and teaching styles. Must adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety. Participation in compliance and other required training is a condition of employment

Requirements

  • Two (2) years post-high school education.
  • Two (2) years of healthcare-related work experience
  • Experience in training/teaching others in a professional environment.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Forms.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
