About The Position

This role provides a dynamic opportunity to design, deliver, and optimize learning experiences that enhance employee proficiency and confidence across evolving software products and operational processes. The Training and Implementation Support Specialist will create onboarding programs, upskilling opportunities, and product-focused training that ensures teams are equipped to perform at a high level. Working with a variety of instructional technologies and adult learning methods, this role combines technical expertise with creativity to drive engagement and measurable learning outcomes. The specialist will partner with cross-functional teams, evaluate program effectiveness, and continuously improve training initiatives. Travel is required for onsite events, providing opportunities to collaborate directly with learners and stakeholders. This position has a visible impact on employee development, operational readiness, and overall team success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Veterinary experience required; practice management or related experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with software products, preferably including practice management systems or other industry-specific tools
  • Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Camtasia, Captivate)
  • Knowledge of LMS/LCMS technologies and adult learning theory
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills for diverse audiences
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Professionalism, empathy, and ability to coach and guide learners effectively

Nice To Haves

  • Veterinary experience required; practice management or related experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Conduct training needs assessments and develop curricula that support onboarding, upskilling, and product knowledge growth
  • Deliver training programs through in-person sessions, e-learning, mobile/tablet, and virtual platforms
  • Evaluate participant performance, document feedback, and report results to supervisors
  • Develop, update, and maintain training materials, incorporating best practices in adult learning and instructional design
  • Support compliance, quality management programs, and internal standards through training initiatives
  • Lead, coach, and mentor team members to elevate technical knowledge and training quality
  • Travel as required (~25%) to attend summits and onsite training events
