Association of Washington Cities (AWC) is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Training Coordinator. This full-time position is responsible for coordinating and supporting both internal and external subject matter experts in delivering a broad spectrum of trainings and programs, including in-person events and online learning, for AWC members, particularly city elected officials and staff. The incumbent will support and coordinate conferences, forums, workshops, webinars, and other online education, as well as the Certificate of Municipal Leadership program and the Center for Qualities Communities scholarship. Founded in 1933, AWC is a private, nonprofit, nonpartisan organization, which provides a wide array of services to cities and towns in the State of Washington. AWC builds connections between our state’s diverse cities and towns, while providing our members with the support needed to thrive through delivery of data-driven education, nationally recognized pooling programs, and nonpartisan advocacy.
