About The Position

Plan, organize, coordinate employee training, including current team members and new hires. Ensure SOP process and procedures are followed in addition to certification and recertification monitor.

Requirements

  • Must be certified and “proficient” in 2 or more of the following machine functional areas. If not currently certified in two areas, certification must be completed within 90-days. Areas of certification will be determined by management.

  • Match & Attach
  • Entrust
  • Must be skilled and proficient training others
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Work, Excel, Power point
  • Must obtain excellent communication and organizational skills and build interpersonal relationships with team members & Sr Leadership.
  • Must exhibit a collaborative partnership with team members while encouraging a team-based focus.
  • Experience with training preferred
  • Must be willing to motivate, provide feedback & coach others
  • Must be certified & able to train in at least 6 additional areas within six months
  • It is the responsibility of the Training Specialist to work with the Program Owner to ensure certifications are completed.

  • Must obtain efficient problem-solving knowledge to resolve operational issues.
  • Detail oriented with excellent organization and time-management skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively independently and within a team environment.
  • Physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, lift objects as required during machine set up and maintenance.
  • Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as needed.
  • Constant standing, walking, some bending, twisting and light lifting, up to 15lbs

Responsibilities

  • Train & identify incumbent operator/s to be the SME for all team members in that area
  • Frequent follow up with SME to ensure Team Members are trained timely
  • Communicate performance issues with Program Owner and work with cross functional departments and department managers
  • SOP’s must be used as a reference while training
  • Identify any SOP modifications needed– communicate changes to Program Owner
  • Update any revisions regarding certification tests
  • Operation and knowledge of equipment preferred
  • Must be ready to work in other areas/duties as assigned
