About The Position

a.i. solutions is seeking a highly motivated Data Integrator to support the Commercial Space Domain Awareness (SDA) team. The primary responsibility of this role is to create, curate, and aggregate satellite data for U.S. Space Force (USSF) training events. The Data Integrator will work closely with trainers to ensure their data requirements are met, directly supporting mission readiness across USSF units. The ideal candidate will embrace the a.i. solutions mission, demonstrate strong self-motivation and attention to detail, and consistently strive to exceed customer expectations.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship
  • BS/BE in in Engineering, Physics, or other STEM related field; or 3+ years of experience in satellite flight dynamics, satellite operations, space situational awareness (SSA), or space domain awareness (SDA)
  • Basic understanding of IT support principles, particularly in administering software tools
  • Ability to read, understand, and write technical documents
  • Self-motivation with a collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively within a team environment and independently

Nice To Haves

  • U.S. Department of Defense Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one
  • Knowledge of and experience with satellite flight dynamics and operations (e.g., trajectory and maneuver planning)
  • Knowledge of and experience with SSA/SDA (e.g., sensor operations)
  • Software development experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges
  • Demonstrable attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Operate a data aggregation and distribution system
  • Communicate with trainers to match satellite data with their training needs
  • Coordinate with satellite owners/operators for new sources of live satellite data
  • Extract technical information about live satellite operations from planning documents
  • Operate a system to generate simulated satellite data in response to requests from trainers
  • Coordinate with satellite owners/operators to customize their operations plans to assist with training objectives
  • Work and communicate with the team to understand the concepts, software and system requirements, and team priorities
  • Continually improve your knowledge to grow our value to the customer
