About The Position

At PRC‑Saltillo, our mission is to give individuals a voice and the tools they need to communicate, learn, and thrive. As a Training & Implementation Specialist, you’ll help bring that mission to life by creating high‑quality training resources, professional development experiences, and implementation tools that support AAC users, families, professionals, and our internal teams.
If you enjoy blending clinical expertise, instructional creativity, and collaboration, this role offers the opportunity to shape how AAC is taught, understood, and implemented across the country. You’ll work alongside SLPs, educators, product teams, and marketing partners to create meaningful content that truly makes communication accessible.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills for both online and in‑person training
• Proficiency with PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, and MS Teams
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Problem‑solving and analytical thinking
• Flexibility and comfort with changing priorities
• Bachelor’s degree in a disability/assistive technology‑related field required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in AAC or Assistive Technology required
• Demonstrated understanding of AAC clinical practices and current best‑practice trends

Nice To Haves

• Experience with video production preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess the training and implementation needs of customers, clinicians, and internal staff
• Create and deliver live online trainings, on‑demand courses, and in‑person workshops
• Develop AAC implementation materials across a variety of platforms and formats
• Contribute to learning management system (LMS) content creation and deployment
• Present professional development sessions via e-learning, webinars, on‑demand, and live events
• Collaborate with other departments to create and update print and digital training materials
• Support national and regional conferences to ensure PRC‑Saltillo’s training and products are showcased effectively
