About The Position

Mandel Group, Inc., a leading residential property management company in Milwaukee and throughout the Midwest, is expanding and we're looking to immediately hire a full-time Training Manager to focus on content creation, coaching, and focused learning efforts on skills that improve property performance. Mandel Group owns and manages a varied portfolio of properties, each with its own culture and personality, from new construction to stable assets; we have a proud 35-year history in the apartment industry. The Training Manager will report to the Operations Systems Manager and work closely with our Support Team to provide mentoring and coaching to new associates to acclimate them to their positions within property management and will work with other associates who need additional one-on-one training sessions to cement that knowledge and keep skills fresh. In addition, this position will ensure that content is creative, accurate, relevant, and effective. Candidates for this position will exhibit strong organizational skills, have the ability to successfully communicate Mandel’s ideas and concepts, be able to switch gears effectively, have excellent written communication skills, have previous knowledge and experience in leasing/residential property management and be willing to travel out of state as needed. Experience with Entrata, or similar property management software systems preferred but not required. In addition, candidates should be equally effective working independently or in collaboration with others. If you have the ability to master a diverse set of job responsibilities, meet multiple deadlines, be detail-oriented and have a desire to help others learn the tactical side of their position in residential property management, this is the job for you! Having previous teaching, training or mentoring experience and being able to maintain an up-beat attitude and professional demeanor are a must! Previous training experience in residential property management is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and train new associates as part of the new hire onboarding program, in both virtual and live settings.
  • Establish training schedules, one-on-one support sales training, and fill in at communities that have limited staffing. This may require out-of-state visits for periods of time.
  • Contribute to and assist with enhancement of Training Classes.
  • Assist in determining best practices in various areas.
  • Design training opportunities in value-add areas, including leadership, communication, and other soft skills that are applicable.
  • Communicate results internally; strive for clarity of objectives and training goals.
  • Identify and provide one-on-one coaching opportunities for existing associates by working with Community Managers and other stakeholders.
