Leitner-Poma of America, Inc. is looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative Tram System Assistant Maintenance Technician to become an integral part of the team overseeing our cutting-edge automated people mover at Miami Airport. Dive into a role where you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and optimizing a wide range of electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems! The Tram System Assistant Maintenance Technician is a champion for excellence, ensuring our trams are always in top-notch condition by performing essential cleaning & maintenance tasks that keep them looking their best. The Tram System Assistant Maintenance Technician will manage and maintain a full inventory of necessary supplies, ensuring our team is always prepared for any task. This role also offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills by working closely with experienced technicians, assisting in maintenance & repair projects in a supportive team setting. This is a full-time hourly position, currently hiring overnight shift (10:00pm-6:00am) at $17.25-$22.25 per hour based on relevant experience & certifications. As part of the compensation for this role, Leitner-Poma also offers a 15% shift differential for your overnight dedication. This position will be accepting applications until the position is filled.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED equivalent.
- Prior experience in general cleaning & janitorial tasks.
- Prior experience maintaining & repairing mechanical equipment.
- Ability to physically lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Permanent Resident or Citizen of the United States of America.
- Proficient in the English language.
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of transit system maintenance & repair.
- At least 1 year of cleaning & janitorial experience.
