Transload Operator
About The Position
Transflo Operator Overview: The primary duties of employee shall be to safely operate and maintain all related transflo handling equipment. This shall include specifically transloading bulk commodities between railcar and truck. Description: · Prepare products and materials for container shipment. · Clear communication with railroad, customer and management. · All Aspects of unloading cars, venting hatches, operating pumps, turning valves, connecting hoses, inspecting cargo. · Operating jockey truck and any other material handling equipment. · Follow all operational and safety protocols. · Assist with standard maintenance of the facility. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to qualify for TWIC card
- Pass pre-employment screening to include background check, drug screen and physical
- Computer literacy, MS Outlook, Excel etc.
- Mechanical aptitude
