About The Position

CTI is seeking a Transload Loader to join our skilled and versatile team in Gallup, NM. Hourly Pay + OT + Bonus = APPLY NOW..$$ Starting Pay is $18/hr (DOE) Overtime pay eligible $500 quarterly Safety Bonus The Transload Operator's primary responsibility is to safely and timely transload bulk items, such as fly ash and lime, from railcar to trailer. It is expected that the Transload Operator will have the ability to understand and follow operating procedures and policies.

Requirements

Minimum 18 years of age
Valid driver license
Basic computer knowledge
Ability to pass a controlled substance test at pre-employment
Successful respirator physical, and respirator fit test
No more than 2 moving violations within the previous 3 years
No major violations within the last 5 years
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in whole numbers

Nice To Haves

Railroad operations, preferred
Familiar with brake systems on railcars, preferred
Prior Transload experience; preferred

Responsibilities

Load quicklime and fly-ash from the railcar to the semi or double trailers
Work outside at all times and be on your feet for extended periods
Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when required while performing tasks
Troubleshoot water system to supply eyewash and shower stations, generator, and compressor
Report railcar status and loads delivered to specific sites
Clearly communicate verbally, as well as electronically with CTI Inc. personnel
Radio and text/e-mail
Make quick decisions and react efficiently and safely
The shift may vary between day or night, but is consistent for the entire week
