Conduct and evaluate technical and economic assessments of the EHV and HV transmission system for the reliable operation and expansion of the Southwest Transmission interconnected system. Conduct power flow, transient stability, post-transient power flow and short-circuit duty analyses of the transmission grid. Identify and evaluate potential transmission system additions and develop Long Range Plans. Review technical analyses and proposals of entities seeking to interconnect to the Southwest Transmission system and develop System Impact and Facility Studies as needed.
