Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is now accepting applications for its Summer 2026 Intern Program. This exciting opportunity offers a paid, 10-week experience for selected senior or recently graduated students. The program will run from June 1 to August 7. Eligible students will be seniors or recent graduates, possess U.S. work authorization, and be able to work full-time on a 5-day-per-week on-site schedule. Additionally, participation in this program requires that you be located in the United States for the duration of the engagement. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so early submission is encouraged. The application window is open until March 15, 2026; however, it may close earlier if all available roles are filled. Applications submitted after the application window or once a role is closed/projects are full will not be considered. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Transportation team in Santa Ana, CA. As a Transportation Intern, you will assist in managing and optimizing transportation operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective logistics solutions. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in transportation management, logistics, and supply chain operations.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with transportation management systems (TMS) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in transportation, logistics, or related roles.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of transportation activities, including route optimization and scheduling.
  • Monitor and analyze transportation data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Support the development and implementation of transportation policies and procedures.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to inform transportation strategies.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on transportation performance and recommendations.
