Requirements

  • High school education required; a college degree is preferred. Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicates effectively, reads maps efficiently, and performs simple arithmetic.
  • Must have extensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office software programs.
  • Having experience and knowledge with the EMR software, Vision is preferred.
  • Must have experience and knowledge of working with a POS/ accounting system.
  • Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s license in the State. Must have a good driving record.
  • Must be able to maintain a courteous, friendly and helpful attitude with the residents and staff members at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule medical and non-medical transportation appointments for Health Center residents. This will include obtaining medical itineraries from various institutions. Maintaining the transportation spreadsheet and distribute to drivers, concierges and caregiver offices each day.
  • Research, plan and organize group outings. This will include the promotion of these events by producing flyers, brochures, newsletter articles and sign-up sheets to inform our residents.
  • Monthly posting of resident transportation and outing expenses in our POS system.
  • Transport residents to routine scheduled excursions and resident requested appointments.
  • Schedule routine preventive maintenance for vehicle.
  • To keep vehicles in repair and observe safety regulations and requirements.
  • To communicate well with the residents and staff.
