About Your Role: As a Transportation Coordinator at Dollar Tree, you’ll support transportation operations by coordinating outbound shipments and ensuring accurate, timely communication across stores, distribution centers, carriers, and internal teams. Your work helps maintain service standards and operational efficiency. Your day-to-day job duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Transportation Coordination & Execution: Coordinate outbound and backhaul freight assignments to support transportation operations Maximize truck utilization while supporting cost control efforts Conduct tracking and tracing of deliveries and transportation equipment Monitor carrier performance and ensure compliance with delivery protocols Data Accuracy & Documentation: Perform accurate data entry across transportation systems Ensure accuracy of carrier invoicing within transportation systems Support claims processes and maintain proper documentation for credits Operational Support & Compliance: Analyze operational trends and assist with process improvement efforts Follow safety procedures and promote a clean, organized work environment Adhere to company policies and perform other duties as assigned
