Job Title: Transportation Specialist (Driver - Behavioral Health) JOB SUMMARY: We’re looking for a fulltimeTransportation Specialist to help transport our consumers to and from designated appointments. Various work hours available for this role. This is a great option for retired drivers or anyone looking to supplement their income at their own pace. Schedules Available: 1) Mon-Fri, 9a-5:30p and 2) Mon-Fri, 8:30a-5p

Requirements

  • Must be 25 years or older
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Ability to transport consumers to appointments in a safe and reliable manner
  • Valid Tennessee Driver’s License
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and “F” Endorsement (required)
  • Acceptable Criminal Background Investigation
  • Personal Automobile Insurance

Responsibilities

  • Transport consumers to and from designated appointments.
  • Transport to and from hospitals and/or residential/community locations for EPS
  • Communicate with Transportation Supervisor regarding consumer concerns and/or transportation issues for the consumer.
  • Attend team, department and Agency meetings as required.
  • Maintain the MHC vehicles in optimal condition and report any concerns to the Transportation Supervisor.
  • Must inspect assigned vehicle at the beginning of work shift and complete vehicle inspection form.
  • Complete all required paperwork in a legible and timely manner.
  • Respond expediently to all communication with office.
  • Responsible for managing route, which includes calling consumers prior to leaving the office and planning route effectively.
