The Transportation Supervisor is the key operations link between the organization, drivers/owner operators, and customers. The primary responsibility is to lead and supervise driver associates to achieve superior customer service and KPI goals. Managing the box truck drivers' work out of client locations, including client communication, systems management, and route completion. Manage safety and compliance around box truck operations Daily execution of the operating plan, equipment utilization, safety, hours of service, and fuel efficiency Use and ensure that the TMS, TruckMate, and PeopleNet systems are updated accurately and promptly Assists the Operations Manager with managing warehouse and transportation operations Administrative functions such as billing, invoicing, and driver pay Maintain compliance with all DOT and company safety regulations
