Shaw’s Distribution Center, a proud member of the Albertsons Companies family, is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Trucking Transportation Supervisor to lead the operations for our fleet of 100 plus CDL Class A drivers. Requirements

  • Experience in transportation/logistics, preferably in the grocery or retail industry.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and FMCSA compliance (CDL Class A preferred).
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a large driver team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and transportation management systems (TMS or onboard tech experience is a plus).
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Valid CDL A Driver's License Preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily transportation operations and CDL drivers.
  • Schedule, route, and dispatch load efficiently for store deliveries.
  • Ensure driver assignments and operations meet DOT/FMCSA requirements, including Hours of Service compliance.
  • Coordinate closely with warehouse staff for on-time order loading and dispatch.
  • Maintain strong relationships with store managers to ensure exceptional service.
  • Prepare and review weekly/monthly DOT mileage and compliance reports.
  • Enforce safety standards, company policies, and government regulations at all times.
