Be a part of something special! Halvik is currently seeking a qualified candidate to serve in the Transportation Policy Division as a Support Analyst for Headquarters, Department of the Army, G-4. Responsibilities: This position will support the Chief of the Transportation Policy Division in the following capacity:

Requirements

  • Mid-level analyst that is a self starter, active secret clearance, excellent quantitative and analytical skills. A thorough knowledge of government and/or army transportation policy and processes.
  • This position requires an advanced degree with 6 years' experience, a bachelor's degree with 8 years' experience, or 12 years of experience with no degree.
  • Must be able to work within a team environment, as well as independently.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with team members, government personnel, and Army Senior leadership.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task/manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
  • Demonstrate Senior level proficiency in all Microsoft Office software platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Serve on subcommittees and prepare correspondence for the Transportation Division Chief and Senior Leaders' attendance at meetings
  • Review staffing packages submitted by installation transportation offices and recommend approval/disapproval
  • Coordinate with Service counterparts to advise on the Army's position on HHG related information
  • Review HHG Audit suspense(s) and update as appropriate
  • Attend meetings with G-4 senior leaders to develop and recommend Army's position on HHG inquires
  • Review and provide a written recommendation to Army Board of Correction of Military Records inquires
  • Review and provide written recommended responses to congressional inquires
