TRASH TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)
About The Position
We are hiring immediately for full time TRASH TECHNICIAN positions. Location: Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital - 2000 Church Street, Nashville, Tennessee 37236. Note: online applications accepted only. Schedule: Full time; Days may vary, 11:00 pm to 7:30 am. More details upon interview. Requirement: Prior experience handling medical and biohazard waste in a medical facility is preferred. Fixed Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour. Requirements
- Must have physical ability to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience handling medical and biohazard waste in a medical facility is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
- Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
- Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
