About The Position
Barnes Jewish Hospital is seeking an experienced Trauma Registrar IV! Our department is growing and we are looking to add to our current team! Schedule: M-F, days, 8 hour shifts (flex on start time between 5 am-9 am) Overview Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University Medical Center is the largest hospital in Missouri and is ranked as one of the nation's top hospitals by U.S. News & World Report. Role Purpose The position is responsible for data entry into the Emergency General Surgery Registry and/or Trauma Registries to include: injury, procedural and ICD-10 Coding in the Emergency General Surgery and/or Trauma Registries. This position will also assist with IRR reporting on other team members and data dictionary review and upkeep. This position requires the ATS registry certification, AAAAIM coding certification, CSTR certification, and CAISS certification. This position is responsible for maintaining concurrency to meet the required standards as set forth by the accrediting bodies. This position requires a CSTR and CAISS Certification.

Responsibilities
- Includes all responsibilities of lower level Trauma/Emergency General Surgery Registrars.
- Submission of trauma finance charges in EPIC.
- Completion of Trauma/Emergency General Surgery Finance report for distribution.
- Completion of Simple report requests for distribution.
- Generate and distribute patient discharge lists for Trauma/EGS and populate the M&M Access database with new Trauma/EGS patients.
