About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and experienced Behavioral Health Clinician for a 13-week travel assignment in an inpatient setting. This role involves conducting clinical assessments, developing treatment plans, and supporting patients through admission, treatment, and discharge. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and works effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

  • Active Massachusetts license (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or PhD in Psychology)
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) or MOAB certification – Required
  • BLS Certification – Required
  • 1–2 years of recent inpatient or acute behavioral health experience preferred
  • Strong assessment, crisis intervention, and care coordination skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive clinical assessments for patients with acute behavioral health conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with care teams
  • Lead treatment planning and coordinate discharge processes
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy
  • Assess psychosocial needs and coordinate post-discharge services
  • Support patients and families with care planning, including placement and community resources
  • Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and external agencies
  • Provide crisis intervention and prevention services
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
  • Coordinate with managed care organizations for authorizations
  • Participate in community outreach and education initiatives
