About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and experienced Behavioral Health Clinician for a 13-week travel assignment in an inpatient setting. This role involves conducting clinical assessments, developing treatment plans, and supporting patients through admission, treatment, and discharge. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and works effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

Active Massachusetts license (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or PhD in Psychology)
CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) or MOAB certification – Required
BLS Certification – Required
1–2 years of recent inpatient or acute behavioral health experience preferred
Strong assessment, crisis intervention, and care coordination skills
Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive clinical assessments for patients with acute behavioral health conditions
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with care teams
Lead treatment planning and coordinate discharge processes
Provide individual, group, and family therapy
Assess psychosocial needs and coordinate post-discharge services
Support patients and families with care planning, including placement and community resources
Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and external agencies
Provide crisis intervention and prevention services
Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
Coordinate with managed care organizations for authorizations
Participate in community outreach and education initiatives
