About The Position
A healthcare facility in Seneca, SC is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. This role supports weekend imaging coverage and requires strong technical expertise, flexibility, and a commitment to patient safety and high-quality diagnostic imaging in an acute care environment.
Requirements
- Active ARRT (MR) certification
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience
- Minimum 1 year of EPIC documentation experience
- Ability to take call and work weekend schedules
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and established imaging protocols
- Ensure patient and staff safety by following MRI safety standards and screening procedures
- Operate MRI equipment and evaluate image quality
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Administer contrast agents per protocol and monitor for adverse reactions
- Document all procedures accurately using the EPIC electronic medical record system
- Utilize Omnicell medication dispensing systems as required
- Perform routine equipment quality assurance and safety checks
- Float to other units or campuses as needed, within demonstrated competencies
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
