Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations
  • Interpret findings
  • Design person-centered treatment plans focused on activities of daily living, fine motor skills, cognitive rehabilitation, perceptual-motor integration, and adaptive equipment recommendations
  • Implement evidence-based interventions, including neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic activities, seating and positioning, splinting, and ADL/IADL training
  • Set measurable goals
  • Document progress in the EHR
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Facilitate discharge planning and home modification recommendations to support safe, independent living
  • Provide patient and caregiver education to promote carryover in daily routines and community participation
