Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with supervising physical therapists to implement and adjust treatment plans for a range of patient populations, including orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, and geriatric cases as applicable.
  • Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, gait and balance training, assistive device education, and progress documentation.
  • Monitor patient responses, communicate changes to the care team, and support patients in understanding home exercise programs to promote continuity of care after therapy sessions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, ensure safety during interventions, and participate in team rounds to optimize patient outcomes.
