Role Specifics and Benefits: As an ICU RN, your core responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessment, continuous hemodynamic monitoring, rapid titration of vasoactive medications, ventilator management and weaning, arterial and venous access management, accurate medication administration with meticulous dosage calculations, and vigilant prevention of infections and complications. You’ll lead and participate in bedside rounds with the interdisciplinary team, interpret and respond to evolving patient data, and communicate clearly with families to provide honest, compassionate updates.
