Role specifics and benefits. As a Travel RN in Labor and Delivery, you’ll be trusted to manage a wide spectrum of obstetric care. Your key responsibilities will include monitoring labor progress and fetal well-being, performing intermittent and continuous fetal heart rate tracing, administering medications and interventions within scope, assisting with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, and providing comprehensive postpartum and newborn care. You’ll educate families on lactation, newborn care, recovery expectations, and warning signs, while collaborating closely with physicians, midwives, nurses, and ancillary teams to ensure seamless, patient-centered care.
