Install, commission, service and repair Aggreko generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or OFA systems. Troubleshoot equipment failures both on Major Projects and in service centers. Utilize mathematical formulas to calculate both nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements. Read and comprehend electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals. Maintain thorough knowledge of, practice, and promote safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA, EPA and other required regulations dealing with safe operation of all equipment. Interface with a remote operations center to prevent failures, help design proactive notification to avoid failures and compliance
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- 4+ years' experience working on HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment. (chillers, AC’s, AH, pumps, dehumidifiers, Heater, Heat exchangers)
- Knowledge using metering and instruments such as multi-meter’s, amp meters, and Hygrometers
- Based on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card, valid driver’s license
- Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Electrical Generating System Association technician or other various certifications are a plus but not required.
