Lead Technician / Foreman – Large-Scale Infrastructure Projects Ready to run the show on a 2-million-square-foot canvas? We’re looking for a seasoned Low-Voltage Foreman to lead data and fiber crews through massive warehouse and distribution center builds. Requirements
- 5+ years of low-voltage or data cabling experience
- Prior Foreman or Lead Technician experience
- Strong Cat6 and single-mode/multi-mode fiber termination and testing knowledge
- Experience leading crews of 4–20 technicians
- Experience with paging, wireless, CCTV, and access control cabling
- Comfortable working at height and in large warehouse environments
- Proficient with smartphones, email, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong communication skills with Technicians and Project Managers
- Basic telecommunications tools, PPE, and reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Willingness to travel extensively and work 50–60 hour weeks
Responsibilities
- Lead and support data and low-voltage cabling crews on large warehouse and distribution center projects (500k–2M+ sq ft)
- Remain hands-on with Cat6 and fiber installations while overseeing quality and productivity
- Install and oversee paging, wireless/AP cabling, CCTV, and access control cabling
- Plan daily manpower, work sequencing, and production goals
- Read prints, plan cable pathways, and manage MDF/IDF buildouts
- Operate boom and scissor lifts (40–60 ft work)
- Attend construction meetings and coordinate with other trades
- Complete daily and weekly progress updates and project spreadsheets
- Track, manage, and maintain project materials and onsite inventory
- Communicate status, risks, labor needs, and material requirements to Project Managers
- Enforce all safety, quality, and schedule requirements
