The Treasury Management Sales Officer is responsible for developing and managing relationships with business members to sell and implement treasury management solutions including cash management, merchant services, remote deposit capture, ACH services, and other business banking products. This position serves as a consultative partner to business members, identifying their operational needs and delivering customized treasury solutions that enhance their financial efficiency. The role requires both strong sales capabilities and deep product knowledge to effectively position treasury services as value-added solutions for the credit union's growing business banking portfolio. What you will do here: Business Development & Sales Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities for treasury management products and services through outbound calling, networking, and relationship development Monitor activity with prospective and existing business members and conduct comprehensive needs assessments to proactively identify opportunities for treasury solutions, product enhancements, and additional services that support business growth. Develop and present customized treasury management proposals that address specific member business needs and demonstrate ROI Achieve individual sales goals for treasury product adoption, revenue generation, and new business account acquisition Maintain active pipeline of prospective members and manage opportunities through the sales cycle to closure Collaborate with Business Relationship Managers and branch staff to cross-sell treasury products to existing commercial lending relationships Member Relationship Management & Onboarding Serve as primary point of contact for treasury management members, building trusted advisor relationships and ensuring exceptional service delivery. Coordinate the implementation of treasury management services for new and existing members. Partner with Business Services Operations team to ensure smooth onboarding and account setup to ensure service delivery meets member expectations. Conduct regular business reviews with existing treasury management clients to ensure satisfaction and identify expansion opportunities Respond promptly to member inquiries, provide expert guidance on treasury products and services, resolve issues efficiently, and maintain accurate documentation of all interactions and service requirements in CRM (DesertForce). Internal Partnerships Provide Business Services and Retail groups with ongoing education about treasury management products, pricing, and operational requirements Partner with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns for treasury products Collaborate with product management to communicate member feedback and suggest product enhancements Participate in cross-functional meetings to align treasury management strategies with overall business banking objectives Assist branch staff on basic treasury product features to support member inquiries and referrals Industry Monitoring & Reporting Monitor competitive trends, pricing, and emerging technologies in treasury management to maintain market competitiveness. Stay informed on regulatory developments affecting treasury products and services. Prepare regular sales reports, activity dashboards, and pipeline forecasts for management review Document best practices and success stories for internal knowledge sharing Perform other job-related duties as assigned. What you will need: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field required preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience required. 4+ years of experience in treasury management sales, business banking, or commercial relationship management - direct experience in delivering treasury and cash management solutions required. Demonstrated track record of achieving sales goals and growing revenue preferred. Strong understanding of business banking operations, account structures, and commercial lending products. Ability to interpret financial statements and operational workflows to evaluate cash flow cycles and recommend appropriate treasury solutions required. Comprehensive knowledge of treasury management products and services, including ACH, wire transfers, remote deposit capture, merchant services, fraud prevention tools, and cash management solutions required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation skills and the ability to explain complex products in clear, relatable terms required. Applies high-level of critical thinking with the ability to analyze member business needs, evaluate risk, and recommend effective solutions required. Strong consultative sales ability and negotiation skills with proven success identifying member needs, positioning solutions, and driving product adoption. Skilled in pipeline management, opportunity tracking, and developing business cases that demonstrate ROI required. Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales tracking tools, with the ability to manage pipelines and member data effectively required. AZDL - Valid driver's license and ability to meet with members at their business locations required. Professional certifications in treasury management (CTP, CCM) preferred preferred.
