About The Position

The Treasury Management Support Assistant Manager plays a key leadership role within the Treasury Management Support area by assisting with the execution of current initiatives and supporting the implementation of new treasury management products and services. This role provides guidance to team members, serves as subject matter experts, and supports the future direction of the Treasury Management suite of products.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of ACH, wire transfers, faster payment (RTP, Zelle...), and other electronic payments.
  • Familiarity with payment systems and banking regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payment processing platforms.
  • 3+ years in treasury management support, payment operations or related banking functions.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • College degree or experience equivalent preferred.
  • Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Oversight: Assist with the oversight of daily payment processing activities, supporting accuracy, compliance, and timeliness across ACH, wire transfers, faster payment systems, online bill pay, and other treasury management payment channels. Monitor workflow and allocate resources to meet service level agreements (SLAs). Responsible for improving and updating procedures.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Support compliance oversight for treasury management operations by ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, payment network rules, and industry standards. Support audits and implement controls to mitigate operations and fraud risks.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor treasury support staff, providing training and performance feedback. Serve as a point of escalation for complex treasury support issues and inquiries.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance automation. Collaborate with technology teams to implement system upgrades and new treasury management solutions.
  • Customer Service: Act as a liaison between vendors, FinTech partners, and traditional commercial banking customers to gather feedback and drive enhancements to treasury management platforms and processes. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions. Assists with the resolution of complex or reoccurring issues, working with Deposit System Analysts to identify root causes and acts as an escalation point.
