About The Position

Sweetwater, the nation’s #1 online retailer of pro audio and music instruments is seeking to hire a sharp, efficient Treasury Specialist for our Finance team. The Treasury Specialist plays a key part in managing cash activity, ensuring payment accuracy, and supporting financial close processes. This role involves close coordination with the accounting and customer service teams to ensure proper handling of incoming funds, accurate payment reconciliations, and timely issuance of customer refunds. The Treasury Specialist also provides essential support during the accounting month-end close by assisting with journal entries related to cash and treasury activities.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in Corporate Finance or similar field
• The ability to perform tasks in a fast-paced environment
• The capability to perform independently or in a group setting
• Excellent attention to detail and familiarity with iOS preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business preferred
• We function best as a unified team, so relocation to our state-of-the-art campus in Fort Wayne, IN is required.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile internal payments to external processor data and correct any variances/discrepancies
• Work cross-functionally to determine appropriate coding for cash transactions in accounting system
• Issue customer refund payments
• Identify delayed or missing settlements
• Assist with accounting month end close process
• Monitor daily bank activity and exceptions
