Treatment Plan Specialist
About The Position
Arkansas Family Dental is looking for a motivated and compassionate Treatment Plan Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in helping patients understand their dental treatment options and making quality dentistry financially accessible. As a Treatment Plan Specialist, you will work closely with doctors, clinical team members, and patients to review treatment plans, explain costs and insurance benefits, and coordinate financing options so patients can confidently move forward with their care. Responsibilities
- Meet with patients to review and explain recommended treatment plans
- Clearly communicate procedures, timelines, and associated costs
- Help patients understand insurance benefits and out-of-pocket expenses
- Present financing options such as CareCredit, Sunbit, Affirm, and payment plans
- Collect co-payments, deductibles, and outstanding balances
- Coordinate with insurance coordinators for benefit verification and pre-authorizations
- Schedule treatment appointments and follow-up visits
- Maintain accurate records of treatment plans and patient balances
- Review the schedule daily to identify patients needing treatment plan signatures or payments
- Follow up with patients regarding unscheduled treatment or outstanding balances
- Complete daily deposits and closing duties
- Assist front desk check-in when needed
