About The Position

The Trimmer 2 builds upon the foundational skills learned in the initial phase. This role requires continued proficiency in all tasks from prior classifications and demonstrated improvement in climbing techniques and aerial work.

Requirements

• Completed and signed Groundperson Training
• Completed Groundperson section in LCQP Book
• Completed and signed Climber Training
• Completed and signed Bucket Operator Training
• Completed and signed annual Aerial Rescue Training
• Passed LCCP test
• CPR and First Aid certification (required within 90 days of hire)
• Completed and signed Tree Feller Training
• Valid Class C Driver’s License (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Perform all tasks from the Trimmer Trainee – Start classification
• Demonstrate a noticeable improvement in climbing ability and aerial maneuvering
• Support bucket and climbing operations as needed
• Maintain and inspect climbing equipment and follow all safety procedures
• Continue progressing through the Line Clearance Qualification Program (LCQP)
