With our ongoing growth, we have an immediate opening for a day shift Semi Tractor-Trailer Driver position.

Requirements

• Must possess a current CDL Class A license, DOT physical long form and medical card
• Have a minimum of five years’ experience (preferred) in operating a semi-tractor trailer
• Be a dependable and dedicated individual who takes pride in safety and exhibits good driving skills at all times and possess a good driving record

Responsibilities

• Drive locally in Southeastern Michigan area
• Perform proper maintenance checks to ensure that all mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in proper working order
• Must be able to fill out and keep accurate log / records
• Be able to operate a forklift to load and unload shipment on truck
• Delivering products in a timely and courteous manner
• Obtain signatures to confirm order completion
• Inspect and maintain cleanliness of vehicle
• Follow all truck safety procedures
• Verify the quantity of material
• Provide great customer service to our customers
• Secure products in truck for proper transport
• Adhere to Department of Transportation regulations
• Follow verbal and written instructions
• Cross training as needed
