Must be 18 years of age or older At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.  The base hiring pay range for this role is between $24.25 - $34.00 per hour, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.

Requirements

  • Must possess a current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with no restrictions & current DOT medical exam certificate
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • At least one year of professional driving experience.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • No more than 1 moving violation in last 12 months, or no more than 2 moving violations in last 36 months.
  • No DWI offenses in last 12 months, or no more than 1 DWI offense in last 36 months
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to follow bio security guidelines.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule (to include evenings and weekends)

Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate would safely and effectively load/deliver poults from the brooder farms to the grower farms, pull trailers, haul heavy equipment, and assist with regular farm support tasks.
  • Help crew load birds occasionally (less than 40% of the time)
  • Other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
