The Truck Driver position requires the individual be safety minded while performing any and all tasks associated with driving a semi, pulling single or double belly dump trailers and/or water trailers. MTI focuses on two major segments – Consumer & Specialties and Engineered Solutions. Our Consumer & Specialties segment offers technologically enhanced products to consumer-driven end markets plus specialty additives that become functional components in a variety of consumer and industrial goods. This segment includes our Household & Personal Care and Specialty Additives product lines. The Household & Personal Care product line provides mineral-to-market products that serve consumer-oriented end markets including Pet Care, Personal Care, Fabric Care, Edible Oil, and Renewable Fuel Purification. Our Specialty Additives product line provides mineral-based technologies serving Paper, Packaging, Sealants & Adhesives, Paint & Coatings, Ceramics, Plastics, Food & Pharmaceutical markets. Requirements

High School Graduate or GED preferred but not required
Current CDL with doubles/triples endorsement or ability to obtain, tanker endorsement a plus
Clean MVR
Ability to: Stand or walk for long periods of time
Bend, stretch, twist, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Lift 25 lbs. frequently or 50 lbs. occasionally
Fill out all necessary daily paperwork and/or safety related documents
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle and ensure any out of compliance issues are fixed in a timely manner
Drive safely to mine site to be loaded
Properly utilize CB communication throughout the entire process to aid in safe travel
Drive safely back to plant to dump load
Perform walk around inspection and cleanout between loads
Perform post-trip inspection of vehicle and ensure any out of compliance issues are fixed in a timely manner
