About The Position

This position is responsible for the proper dumping and binning of all incoming Rough Rice trucks, including all input of inventory and paperwork that accompanies this task.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, with 0-6 months experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspection of all equipment that pertains to the dump.
• Dump trucks in an efficient, timely manner, ensuring proper binning of rice according to the lab instructions.
• Operate scales, printers, grain elevators, conveyors, bin gates.
• Read and reference daily instructions.
• Possess the ability to distinguish between colors.
• Complete SA logs as required.
• Assist Dryer personnel or Lab personnel as needed.
• Input truck information into our inventory systems, and spreadsheets.
• Sample truck bottoms for grading, foreign material, and binning information.
• Operates Forklift, Front end loader, skid steer as needed.
• Perform light maintenance work as needed.
• Perform a variety of sanitation duties such as cleaning bins, yards, boot pits, etc.
• Work in coordination with others well.
• Work independently well.
• Working at heights, in noisy, dusty environments, with exposure to the elements.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and occasionally lift up to 100lbs with assistance.
• Seasonally work long hours.
• Complete monthly safety training.
• Coordinate with supervision daily.
• Check email frequently to ensure proper binning with coordination from the lab.
• Cooperate with incoming drivers and visitors in a professional manner.
• This is a safety sensitive position.
• Any other duties assigned by manager.
