Truck Gate Attendant GA02-3 - B Shift - Berry Street

About The Position

This is a full-time position responsible for monitoring daily traffic entering and leaving the Tyson Berry Street facility, answering the phone and transferring calls, constant communication with plant management, truck drivers, vendors, Berry Street customers, and Team Members as necessary. This position will be responsible for lot checks of trailers during their designated hours. This position is also responsible for monitoring what is being brought into and out of the facility and enforcing Tyson policy if needed. Other job duties may be assigned by supervisor. The Main Guard shack runs 4 shifts in order to have 24-hour coverage (ABCD schedule) and shift assignment will be determined upon job offer.

Requirements

Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: 6 months preferred.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.
Communication Skills: Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate under stressful situations.
Position Specific Requirements: Must be able to work in both hot and cold temperatures, work both independently and under supervision, and have a positive work ethic.
Schedule: 12 hour shifts, Sunday Monday,Tuesday , 6 hour Shift Wednesday
