We are searching for a new member of the Meijer family to deliver a quality customer experience as a Truck Unloader at our Waukesha location! As a Truck Unloader, you will provide product suggestions and assist customers while you provide our customers with exceptional customer service. You will assist with backroom procedures; you will stock the salesfloor and ensure that our customers have a variety of high-quality items to choose from. Part- Time opportunities available in the following department: Grocery Receiving Shifts available from 1:00 PM - 10:00PM Sunday - Saturday WEEKEND AVAILABILITY REQUIRED ALL EXPERIENCE LEVELS WELCOME; TRAINING PROVIDED CURRENT OR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WITH FORKLIFTS, POWERED JACKS, POWERED EQUIPMENT. Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
You are detail-oriented and organized.
Strong listening and communications skills, face-to-face and virtually.
Willingness to learn or existing familiarity with job-specific technology.
Problem-solving competence and eagerness to troubleshoot when necessary.
Process-driven with ability to follow procedures in an organized and efficient way.
Ability to stay calm while working in a fast-paced environment.
Desire to work with customers on a consistent basis.
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling product.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

CURRENT OR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WITH FORKLIFTS, POWERED JACKS, POWERED EQUIPMENT.
EXPERIENCE IN WAREHOUSE, PRODUCTION, OR FOOD SERVICE A PLUS!

Responsibilities

Build rapport with customers.
Display a friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.
Respond to customer questions in an effective manner.
Utilize forklifts and other powered equipment
Unload all trucks efficiently and completely
Prepare the backroom area for truck delivery
Sort totes and boxes by department
Stock product and maintain product displays according to merchandising standards.
Working backstock to inventory
Utilize technology to complete activities and tasks.
Follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service and products for our customers.
