About The Position

The Trust Operations Associate supports the Trust Department by completing administrative and operational tasks delegated by management. The role involves learning departmental policies and procedures, trust accounting software, and bank systems to accurately perform accounting, reconciliation, balancing, reporting, and transaction processing. This position will interact with customers to answer questions and resolve issues.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
  • Marketing, Banking, Economics, Finance or Business Administration Course Concentration preferred.
  • Two years’ experience in Trust Operations preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft skills, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong follow-up and execution skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivation to work independently and prioritize own schedule.
  • Strong professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Process daily customer account transactions in SunGard and Jack Henry systems that include client distributions and transfers.
  • Attend and participate in additional job-related training courses and seminars.
  • Assist, develop, and reconcile reports and correspondence.
  • Verify SunGard and Jack Henry system distributions and transfers are accurate, complete, and balanced.
  • Input wire transfer transactions via Jack Henry.
  • Other duties as assigned.
