Tubing Associate
About The Position
Hood Packaging Corporation is seeking an experienced Tuber Associate for our Sibley. SCOPE OF POSITION Reporting to the Tubing Supervisor, this position shafts and places rolls of paper or poly onto roll stands in preparation for production. Production efficiencies are met when there is little or no down time on a machine. The Tubing Associate can affect this by planning ahead, monitoring the raw materials and being prepared to make quick, and careful roll changes. Verifying that the proper raw materials are being used for the job, is also critical to reducing costs of poor quality. In the absence of the Tubing Operator, the Tubing Associate shall fill in as the Tubing Operator to ensure we continue to meet production needs. This position is a progressive step towards becoming an Tubing Operator.
