About The Position

Turnaround Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and controlling detailed, Primavera P6 schedules for refinery shutdowns, turnarounds, and outages. The role supports execution of multi-discipline turnaround activities by providing accurate planning, progress tracking, critical path analysis, and schedule recovery support in compliance with refinery and HSE requirements.

Requirements

• 5–12+ years of experience in refinery turnarounds or major shutdowns
• Strong hands-on experience with P6

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed turnaround schedules covering pre-TA, execution, and post-TA phases
• Build resource-loaded schedules with tight constraints and shift calendars
• Establish WBS by process unit, system, discipline, and work package
• Perform daily schedule updates during TA execution based on field progress
• Track actual start/finish times, craft hours, and remaining durations
• Issue daily and weekly look-ahead schedules
• Maintain rolling forecast schedules to reflect changing field conditions
• Identify and monitor critical and near-critical path activities
• Analyze float consumption and schedule slippage in real time
• Prepare daily dashboard reports, milestone tracking, and variance analysis
• Produce S-curves, manpower histograms, and craft loading reports
• Provide schedule inputs for cost tracking, earned hours, and productivity analysis
